Sian is on a mission to ensure excellent quality music tuition is available to everyone.
Sian's Prodigies provides music lessons on Voice, Violin, Piano, beginners' Ukelele, beginner's Recorder, Deskbells, Theory and General Musicianship. Lessons are fun, colourful, full of energy and very interactive- much more than scales at a piano!
We stomp, clap and sing our rhythm exercises, have fun filling out our Prodigies worksheets, play along to Prodigies music videos and backing tracks, and use lots of stickers!
Sian is a professional singer and conductor of two local choirs. She has performed across the globe, and regularly records with orchestras including the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the English Symphony Orchestra, and BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio Wales, Radio France and Radio Nacionale de Espangna. She teaches all western musical genres of singing and also works as a Voice Rehabilitation Specialist at home and at a voice clinic in Glasgow.
On the team are Sian and also several Young Teachers, whom Sian trains to teach to a high standard in the hope they will bring music-making to their own communities as adults. They receive safeguarding training, as well as up-to-date information on the psychology of children's pedagogy and are excellent instrumentalists/ singers in their own right.
